This baseball season, the Collette Foundation remains the lead sponsor for the Red Sox Foundation’s Rookie League. Since 2007, the Collette Foundation has partnered with this youth program that assists low income and high-risk students in developing life and leadership skills. Its scope is wide; 3,000 children ages 5-12 benefit from its mission.

It has been recognized as the best team charity in sports and received the Commissioner’s Award for Philanthropic Excellence. The program encourages school attendance and helps improve the self-esteem of students all while imparting on these children the values of teamwork and respect. The Collette Foundation provides t-shirts, hats, and some necessary equipment for the participating children.
