Collette Foundation responds to disaster in Japan

The Collette Foundation has pledged to support the efforts of Save the Children following the devastating earthquake and tsunami that ravaged Japan on March 11th. The 8.9 magnitude earthquake caused a tsunami that destroyed everything in it’s wake, leaving thousands dead and thousands more missing. This natural disaster is the largest in Japan’s history.

Save the Children has been operating in Japan for over 25 years. Currently, they have response teams on the ground assisting with relief, manning evacuation centers and focusing on the children affected by this great tragedy.

The Collette Foundation will be matching all donations made by employees, partners and friends up to $10,000USD. As always, 100% of all donations made through the Collette Foundation will go directly to those in need.  If you’d like to join in the efforts of the Collette Foundation and make a donation you can do so by writing a check (please write ‘Japan’ in the memo line) to the Collette Foundation Attn: Donna Warner, 180 Middle Street, Pawtucket, RI 02860. Or, alternatively, click on the donate button on the right hand side of the screen.
